Remember…….“Every problem you have is a wisdom problem!”
“If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who
gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. But
when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a
wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind” (James 1:5-6).
Is lasting change really possible? Many desire to change but find changing difficult, and find permanent, lasting change beyond their ability.
Is there a secret to changing and turning our lives around for good? If so, how do we equip ourselves to ensure that change lasts long enough for transformation to take place? What are the key elements to change?
Knowledge and focus are two significant keys to change. Right focus leads us to the right kind of information, and right information leads us to the right kind of knowledge. And the right kind of knowledge, leads us to the right kind of wisdom – Godly wisdom, that is!
Right focus allows us to change and achieve more. Wrong focus and wrong knowledge lead us to live foolish, wasted lives. Broken focus leads us to distraction, instability, and the non-fulfillment of our dreams.
We don’t need many keys―we only need the right key to make life work, and that key is Godly Wisdom. Godly wisdom is also the key to making permanent and lasting change that leads to total life-transformation.
King Solomon achieved many good things in his life and none in history can equal his works or accomplishments. He was also the wisest man to have ever lived, and because God gave him more wisdom than any other, he possessed the keys to great success and riches.
Studying his methods will help you achieve the change you need to make lasting success possible. Little keys unlock big doors. By studying Proverbs and Godly wisdom you can make small changes that will provide big breakthroughs in your life. Wisdom will influence your daily habits, andyour daily habits influence your character, your integrity, and your ability to overcome evil in this world.
Is complete transformation possible?
“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind…” (Romans 12:2)
Transformation is possible, but ONLY by transforming our minds first. This is our assignment, and no one else can do it for us. After our mind and thinking is permanently changed, all else will follow.
A glimpse of God’s plan for mankind in Ezekiel 36:24-27.
“For I will take you from among the nations, gather you out of all countries, and bring you into your own land. Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols. I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them.”
This verse explains how complete transformation takes place. Our lives require a God intervention. Without it, we are doomed. If we will accept God and allow Him to come into our heart, He will give us a new and improved heart. One that has the capacity to love as He loves, and sees as He sees. This results in our flesh being renewed and we become a new person. When God puts His Spirit in us, we have the ability to live rightly because we are made righteous in Him.
Since man was created in God’s image and His Spirit was breathed into man (Adam), our spirit is empty and always seeking until we are reunited with Him. Sin separates us from Him until we recognize our sinful, fallen nature and repent. We are not whole until we willingly accept Him. When we surrender to Him, He can begin His restoration process in us. We receive this newness of life by asking Him to come into our heart and allowing Him to change us from within. The results are wholeness for brokenness, fruitfulness for barrenness, abundance for poverty and lack, and the wisdom to know what to do, where once was indecision and confusion.
If you decide today that you want what only God can put into your spirit, then accept Him by asking Him to come into your heart and and begin His transforming process through the power of the Holy Spirit. ONLY then can you receive all that He offers — which is every good thing! The world has nothing good to offer you, because it’s ruled by the prince of the air — Satan. Only God can give you the RICHES He holds in Heaven, which comes to those who love Him and are called to His purposes. If you’re sick of your life as it is, ask Him to come in and change you by giving you a new heart. When this is done you won’t be disappointed, because you’ll get excited about the new life God is restoring to your spirit. That’s what transformation is all about!
