There are different names and purposes in Christian goal setting.

  1. Our goal      is to please Jesus and not ourselves.
  2. Our pursuits      are changed as a result.
  3. Our desire      is to get to know our God and Creator intimately.
  • So we make it our goal to please him, whether we are at home in the body or away from it. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad” (2 Corinthians 5:9–10).

Knowing that God is leading and that He’ll reveal His plan for us in His own time is exhilarating. This assurance teaches us to trust Him and to wait patiently for His plan to unfold. Life is never boring when we decide to follow Jesus, because He always has more for us than we could ever have imagined on our own.

You’ll notice an increase in your energy level as you begin to live your life with passion. No longer do you believe that your life is haphazard, determined by fate only.
